I was coming to say we’re going to Grand Cayman, and that’s about how much we paid for our tickets, we were pleasantly surprised at the price! We cannot find a hotel for under 1000 a night, so we are only going for five nights. We will go over 8K likely with food, drink, etc. but close.

Not sure of your dates but I looked at 3/25 to 4/1 and found flights on JetBlue for about 1k for all of you. From there you would rent a car and pick a beach or maybe could find a condo in Orlando and only do a day at Disney and then other activities.

What does airfare into Houston or San Antonio look like and then drive to the gulf beaches?

Also use google.com/flights and leave the destination blank to monitor airfare

I think we're going to Miami for about 4K in flights and nice 4 star hotel for a family of 4. I doubt we'll drop 4 K there!
