Our kid did PK3 in the basement at Hyde-Addison. He survived. At least at H-A, there are still windows in the basement so they get daylight.
Amazing program, great teachers w/ masters degrees + excellent aides, top notch SpEd program and therapists. These are the things that are way more important than whether a classroom is in the basement. Plus, your kid will still have daily programming in all the common areas of the school - playground, gym, library, etc. They are not locked away in a dungeon. |
