Is your teen going on a beach week?

That is so lame

They are off to college in like 3 months. So yeah. Why not? They will just as stupid three months later so may as well get a preview so you can head any major concerns off and have some warming before they fly the coup. You’ll have three months to work on any stupidity fixing. Lol

Omg typos - they will be just as stupid …..warning

Sorry damn phone

If your daughter wants to go, I would let her. She will be extremely upset, rightly so, if you don’t allow her.

OP’s daughter will be 17, and it seems like she is asking OP to also finance the trip, so I wouldn’t give a rats @ss if she was upset if I said no.

I’m from a different part of the country that didn’t have beach week. I can’t understand how any parents let their kids go to this. I’d say no. Being on their own in college is different than a drunken fest in a rental at a beach.

Should’ve redshirted. Listen up parents of preschoolers with summer birthdays.

I *think* you're kidding, right?

Better than being a drunken $lut at 18.

Can he organize a fun weekend with another friend or two who don’t drink as much?

I doubt it.

Senior 1 - Has long term GF whose parents I am sure will not let her go.
Senior 2 - Very introverted. Very few friends at school. Most friends are younger.

They will be 18y, will be going to college in the fall, and I would allow it - though would be nervous the whole time.

My 17yo has managed to go to parties and drink, yet is a virgin. Imagine that.

Haha gotta love the judgmental sexist moms.

Your dd is going to do a mommy trip and that will prevent her from going to college without drinking or sex too.

Got it.

My DS went last year with their friends. Rented a house with 10 other kids. There were non drinkers.
