Do most women find taller men more attractive?

Anonymous
Yes, I am attracted to taller men. And, my wonderful husband of 20 years is 2 inches shorter than me.

Yeah but always exceptions, just look at sex symbol Barry Keoghan who is wildly popular right now. He's not tall.

This!

No. I go gravitate towards intelligence and grace so men I feel attracted to are all over the height chart, though none below 5.5 ft or over 6.5 ft.

Consider reading an enriching book or volunteering with a charitable organization. Your brain wants improving.

Good advice.

I am 5-2 but have always dates tall men, and my DH is 6-3. It was never a conscious decision -- just what I am attracted to.

I feel men are insecure about being shorter, weighing less and having a pants size I couldn't dream of ever having.

I’d prefer to date men who love and respect me for who I am but alas even at my skinniest, which was pretty damn skinny, I was a size 10.

Most men who are smaller than me think that I’m an Amazon woman

Perhaps I prefer “Larger men” because I’ve been socialized to think most men smaller than me wouldn’t even.

I find both to be attractive, and I also find stocky muscular guys to be attractive no matter what height. Would never date a tall super skinny guy.

Women like height yes, but it varies in importance.

For some it is a huge deal, for others (including me) it is a minor plus but not that important.

Most women do want to date men who are taller than they are themselves (not surprisingly) but in most cases that is not hard to find.

Absolutely. 5’10+ is okay. Dh is 6’2 and I love it.

I can’t explain it but I don’t take short men as seriously, even at work. Tall men just seem to command better. Maybe it’s a self fulfilling prophecy- they get told they’re leaders so they live up to the leader name and become leaders. Short men are funnier though

Yes OP, please read one of the many great academic and peer reviewed books or articles about height and its correlation with almost all well being outcomes. Although this PP was being snarky, he did not realize that this is indeed a popular academic and “enriching” topic.

I think that height in men is the same as thinness in women. Sometimes that’s all the other gender cares about.

My husband is 6’4 but I never had problems dating shorter guys.

Yes, 6’+

Last 2 men I dated were 6’3” and 6’1” and my current 5’9” BF (same height as me) fits together with me perfectly.

Different strokes. Tall lean men are my weakness but I also love broad hands with broad chest/shoulders. I can’t stand overly musclebound men.

+1

I'm 5'4". I don't like anything over 6'4" and I consider that too tall. Anything taller than 6'4" seems gangly to and oafish to me.
