Lower income school? If I were a teacher at a lower income school and I knew the district was using that one indicator to make selections for magnet programs that I believed my students deserve to be in I would for sure push this with parents. |
Hahahaha that’s hilarious. No my magnet kids with consistent 100th percentile scores do not need it, but thanks for your “advice”! |
No, we at a high performing ‘W’ feeder middle school. Which is why this is more confusing. |
Our middle school gives kids tickets for the number of hours they spend on IXL that can be exchanged for toys and treats from the school store. Admins are telling teachers in all subjects to push IXL because they have data that shows it boosted test scores and they don’t have time to go back and teach things from 4th grade math that got skipped during the pandemic. |
100th percentile? Hilarious. If your kids are not as dumb as you, maybe you can ask them to explain to you why it is not possible to get 100th percentile. |
Not a fan of more screens for kids, so that’s a no. |
I'm not a fan of written text myself. I prefer things being related verbally like in the olden times. |
And perhaps your kids can explain to you the concept of flippantly rounding up from 99.999 to make a point? |
| Oh really, your kids got MAP scores to the 3rd decimal point? I guess the psychedelic drugs kicked in finally. |
OK, so you can set your kids up with paper worksheets. Is it so difficult for you to apply common-sense reasoning? You might benefit from therapy to soften your excessively rigid and narrow interpretations of information. |
Please share what magnet program you are in that gives your kid the highest score in the county, not just for this year but apparently for the 7 adjacent years as well, without doing any practice at home beyond the base homework. TPMS and Clemente teachers, and their dozens of afterschool math team members, would love to learn this amazing time-saving curriculum. |
Lol I think you kindly need to take your own advice. |
You sound like you’re trying to market this bogus program |
