FWIW for those with kids young enough to enjoy it, the children’s museum is sort of your standard (small) kids’ museum but my kids liked visiting.

We just got back from visiting over the holidays as my parents live there, and one new thing that we did was take a boat tour to Capers Island. It takes you on the intercoastal waterway to Capers Island and they tell you about any wildlife you see on the ride. They also stopped to harvest a few oysters (you can try them fresh and raw!) and brought up their crab traps to talk about what was inside. You then have around an hour on Capers Island (only accessible by boat) to explore. It was really enjoyable and interesting and I’d do it again in warmer weather for sure.
