Why not take the MCPS health class that meets state graduation requirements?

If you have a high schooler who did this, how did your child find the MC classes? Were they more rigorous than the equivalent class offered at their local HS? How was the teacher's quality and curriculum?

Here is a spreadsheet provided by MC with all the courses with equivalent MCPS graduation credit: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10ioH1EHiOHwCyEZsm7caNYS_A5avqM23PWoKTFvW0tk/edit

The difficulty of the course depends on the professor. There is no one professor that will teach the course so I would recommend using RateMyProffesors.com. It gives a good sense of the professor’s difficulty and teaching style.

DD found the courses to be the same as high school courses but with less class time and less busy work. One thing to think about before taking classes at MC is how responsible your child is. Professors won’t send emails the day something’s due, won’t give 50% if you don’t do something. It is a lot different than high school. But if they can keep track of their work they will be good.
