What did your teen do today?

Mine are like yours. Older DC did homework and college applications and younger one mostly spent the time drawing in their room. I dragged them out for a walk at one point and we all watched a show together in the evening.

It's great kids can decide on playing sports on their own. It's great when they are social in person.

Came home from a sleepover.

Went with me to visit family.

Lazed around the house including some basic chores.

Family dinner.

Early bed (tired from sleeper).

Stayed in pajamas all day, read a book and watched football - It was perfect.

My 16 year old slept in until 10am, lazed around until after lunch, then went to the gym, did a bit of homework, then drove to a sports bar to watch football with friends. OP, I highly suggest that your kids get their drivers licenses at the earliest possible time. It is wonderful to be free from driving kids to all their things.

17y slept till 10 and lazed around. We went to lunch as a family and then played a few games of cards. DS then worked on doing his laundry, got ready for the week (made his lunch, packed for sports practice, etc) and played gamed online with friends.
