| My 13y got an Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, as an upgrade from her Gabb |
| Apple Watch for our ten year old. |
| iPhone 14 for 13 y/o. 10 y/o got more presents but has no phone. |
Boo! She’ll be the green dot and people hate that. |
| 20 yo, 16 yo, and 47 yo (me!) got upgraded in September as we were due with minimal cost. |
| 12 year old got an iPhone 8 for $120 |
| My 15 y.o. got a 15 Pro, but it wasn’t a gift—he dropped his phone a week before Christmas and shattered the screen, so he needed a replacement. |
| They did not receive for Christmas, but all three of my teens have had older iPhones since 6th grade or so. Replaced as needed- usually with whatever the cheapest available older model is. They all have 8s or SEs I think. We purchase the phones and pay the bill. If they want anything new or nicer they are welcome to purchase themselves. They don’t care to. The majority of their friends have new/newer iPhones. |
I still have an 11. My 13 year old even has a better iPhone than I do. My 10 year old got an Apple Watch. |

Our 12 yo got iPhone 14 bc it was $5 per month. Got an iPhone 8 about 18 months ago bc they walk to school.
It was a huge, fun surprise for them and were thrilled. Parents still have 8s bc they work fine. Neither of us has ever had a new phone. |
| My 18 year old got the new Google Pixel for his birthday in mid-December. He upgraded from his first phone (Google Pixel 2) that we got him 4 years ago. |
