Lake Louise
Prince Edward Island Banff |
| OP here, I'm going to start investigating many of these places, really appreciate the input. I'll continue to check for add'l ideas, too. DCUM is so helpful for questions like this. |

All very temperate:
Ecuador (Quito, Cuenca) Peru (Cuzco, Lake Titicaca, + lots of other options) Bolivia (La Paz, salt flats) |
| Not international but the flight is longer than flying to Europe -- Alaska. |
Quebec |
Hope you like hookers! |

I used to go to the Alps regularly in the summer, as a child and adult, until we went to to our usual *high altitude* village, and it was a sweltering 30C! Ugh. Climate change.
You may need to go further north... |
| I used to live in the MidEast and every summer, I would head to the coldest place I could find. Any place in the Southern Hemisphere is good - Australia, CapeTown, Chile - but also Sweden, Poland, Cortina in Italy are lovely in the summer. |
Quebec City is great too. Feels more European than some parts of Europe. |
| Denmark, Sweden come to mid. Days are long too which is really nice. The mountain areas of Austria and Switzerland are beautiful and cool. |
Montreal is hot and humid in the summer |
|
Prince Edward Island is great in the summer, not too hot, similar to Maine
Estonia - Tallinn is great Sweden Many options! |
Weird comment, it would depend on where you hang out. You will not run into hookers at regular tourist sights |
Bhutan charges something like $200 per person per day just to be there. That’s not including hotel, food and travel |
| Colorado |
