tipping new appliance delivery crew?

Baseline tip is $20 pp for this kind of thing. As others have said, more there are complications.


Not everyone can afford an extra $40 after shelling out for a new fridge. It's not a luxury item, everyone needs one regardless of wealth.

during my remodel, i wasn’t even there for most deliveries.

i was there for the delivery and installation of my miele combi, and i would not think of tipping that guy. he was clearly a professional.
and i wasn’t going to tip just his helper.

my tv came from best buy, and geek squad and best buy delivery employees aren’t allowed to take tips.
