Well now with new info from OP, I am going to go with Eustachian tube dysfunction.
Sudden sensorineural loss isn’t intermittent. |
| If you use the earwax kit, be sure the water is still warm and you sit down before you do it. I almost fainted the first time because the water was too cold. |
It’s one of the first symptoms. It’s considered a medical emergency because time is of the essence to begin treatment. If you go to urgent care and they can’t visualize a problem, head to the ENT. Better safe than sorry. |
OK, but that's like telling someone with a headache that they should be getting ready to call a neurologist to look for cancer. It's possible, but unlikely enough to be absurd. There's a saying in medicine-- when you hear hoofbeats, think horses not zebras. What you're describing isn't even a zebra. |
| COVID onset can present this way. |
Sometimes I think WebMD needs to be placed behind an IQ test... |
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to chime in with this one. Bozo. |
Warm water! No, don't flush your ears with hydrogen peroxide or any other chemical. Plain, warm tap water. |
It's always been sudden for me. And can go away intermittently as the wax travels through the ear canal. |
Hydrogen peroxide losens the wax. Hydrogen Peroxide isn't DEET, if you are calling Hydrogen Peroxide a chemical, then call water a chemical as well. |
Why are you thinking about loud? What is the point of name calling? |
Oh, and I will say it again for your benefit, a clogged ears were my first symptoms of COVID. |
| Try Sudafed, that’s how my allergies present. And you can flush your ears with hydrogen peroxide, the doctor recommended it for my DS because he gets it trapped from using AirPods. |
Because not everything is covid that's why. It doesn't matter anymore what the symptom is, it is automatically called out as covid. PMS? No, Covid. Irregular heartbeat, could it be anxiety? No, Covid. Knee pain? oh that's covid too doncha know! OP's issue isn't covid! It's sinuses. |
Of course not eveything is COVID but some things are COVID or may be COVID. I will continue to talk about COVID as appropriate, even though the mere mention of it makes you very uncomfortable for some reason. |
