My first car was red and then I had three silver. Just went back to red. It is easy to find in a parking lot |
Gray, Black and Silver.
Favorite is silver - hides dirt/dings/chips. Least favorite- black always looks dirty. |
Silver
Black Royal blue loved this particular shade had this family car for 20 years. Silver and Black now. The black gets dirty very quickly. The current silver looks almost white from far , its very pretty I love it. |
Light blue
Red Silver white(almost cream) Dark red My favorite has been silver. With dark red as a second. Both looked cleaner without washing as much. |
I’m confused by people saying colors like white or black don’t look good after a little while. How long are we talking, 9 months or 5 years? Is this due to fading? Why would metallic colors hold up better? |
I have had 2 navy blue, 1 grayish blue, 1 maroon, 1 sea foam green, and now black.
If I had my choice, I would stick to navy forever. But my current car only has very light interior for navy cars (unless I custom ordered...not happening), and I like dark interior cars. I would have preferred gray over black, but it is what they had on the lot. Sea foam green was a sales job that I got suckered into as a new college grad. I hated that car (was told I would grow to like it) and traded it after a year. |
Green. I like it because we live in a historic neighborhood with lots of trees and no garage, so it doesn’t detract from the curb appeal. |
Red
Black Silver Champagne Black White My favorites have been black (although they get hot and show every spot of dirt) and silver. Depending on what type of car I buy next, I’ll probably buy black or a dark gray. |
I have had red, light blue, dark blue, silver/gray, and super bright blue. The ugliest, and my favorite, is the super bright blue. We bought it 5 years ago thinking in a couple of years it would be DS's car, so we let him pick the color. After driving it for two years I realized the visibility in it kind of sucked (it's a RAV-4) so I wanted him to drive something else.
But I have grown to love the color because I *always* know where my car is in a parking lot. I haven't had a single panicked "where the f is my car" moment since I bought it. From here on out I intend to buy the most obnoxiously bright car available. |
Pale yellow (hand me down from my dad) - fine
White - liked it but it does show dirt quickly A teal green color - LOVED that one Red & Red again - only thing I like is that it makes it easier to find in a parking lot Dark blue - just purchased and I like it right now |
