I can this is a no and how are you this dumb

ROTC are you insane?

ROTC will have zero Jews at W and M and anti Jew would be more like it

Not against ROTC great programs however Jews and ROTC extremely tough.

If your kid wants to do service they go to college graduate and then enter. Always do undergrad first then could do medical school through service or anything that requires grad degree.

What basis do you have to say rotc at W&M would be antisemitic? Are rotc students the ones who are typically pro Palestinian? What a misinformed and horrible thing to say.

There is anti-semitic stuff happening on most college campuses right now. This is what I get from many friends, amd myself, each of us with several kids all at different colleges. It's a hot topic amongst ourselves.

Some are handling it well (President condems, some unauthorized clubs are sanctioned/kids reprimanded/Hillel Rabbi steps up and organizes...) and some are not (see news re: ousted UPenn President and maybe Harvard Pres is next, or not).

I have some distant friends with a kid at Tulane and another distant friend with a kid at W&M. Haven't heard what's happening on their campuses, but prior to Oct 7th, both of those kids were happy

It's a tough time to be Jewish. One of our kids is abroad right now, and this child usually wears a Jewish star around their neck - we made them leave it at home.

But the antisemitism is not coming from the rotc crowd. Quite the opposite.

Stop saying this. You can be antisemitic without being pro Palestine. There are plenty of wannabe tankies in ROTC

It’s the truth. What antisemitism we see on college campuses now derives from Israel situation. This doesn’t mean anyone who is concerned about Palestinians is an antisemite. But the idea that campus antisemitism is somehow coming from traditional quarters like rotc is a terrible distortion.

Terrible situation but not any worse at William and Mary than most other colleges. Even the local high schools are having pro-Gaza anti-Jewish protests. As things stand, the colleges that had the most diversity are the ones that are now the most intolerant.
