Basic Questions for Women

The premise of this question is that women are helpless, have no career and live off their DH’s earnings. It’s so incredibly misogynistic to even think along those lines. If something were to happen to y DH I’d be very sad, but financial ruin would not be the result. I’d do just fine. And for my life insurance - our kids are the beneficiaries because my DH is an adult and can take care of himself.

You sound so sure of yourself and accomplished as a woman, but also so very privileged. Even though I'm sure you are thinking that you're the opposite. Since women still earn markedly less than men to in 2023 these are all reasonable questions to ask.

Women don’t earn that much less than men in 2023. you sound so out of touch with your SAHM philosophy, which is not the reality for the majority of women. Also - women buy houses in larger numbers than men nowadays…

Our primary home is in my name, joint checking accounts and over time investment assets have been retitled so that almost half are in my name. We’ve been married a long time and my husband has always been we are in this together. He’s the big money earner but it’s never been an issue.
