Quince Clothing

Their silk is a little cheap feeling (imo) but the quality is okay and the price is great.

It's cheap, fast fashion quality and fit. And it runs short and wide.

I noticed the same. Look at the timestamps. Page 1 is answers posted a minute apart, immediately after she asked the OP

I’m not a Quince employee. I love their cotton sweaters and like their ponte pants . I would love them (they’re comfortable and good quality) but I have too many curves for them to look good on me.

That has not been my experience at all.

I've ordered a lot from Quince and I end up returning maybe 1/2 of it but really like the 1/2 that I keep. A few thoughts:

I don't think the quality of the cashmere is very good. I liked the sweater I bought, but it pills very easily and really doesn't look good unless I use the fabric shaver on it after every wear.

I love the active wear - the leggings are shiny, so only buy if you like shiny, but I think they're comfortable. The "flow knit" is a nice heavy weight fabric, I live in my hoodie.

The stretch silk fit is ALL OVER THE PLACE. Some of it is short and tight, some of it is long and boxy. It's really hit or miss.

The cotton cashmere sweaters are my favorite sweaters ever. They are only 3% cashmere, but the cotton is fine, so they're really soft. I wish they came in more colors.

I have the leather camera bag and while it's great, the gold tone started fading after about 6 months and after a year, the zipper broke.

The jewelry is a GREAT DEAL. My daughters wear the huggies every day and I wear the bold hoops every day. I also have a few rings that I like, and a dainty necklace. Everything is really dainty though (read: it's cheap because it doesn't use much gold). I have both solid gold and gold vermeil and both have held up well.

My husband loves the flannel shirt.

The pants are awful, I don't know who they are made to fit, but not me.

The alpaca sweater is sooooo soft but seems fragile, so I'm not going to wear it daily.

Sorry, but I'm the pp on page 1 who replied about having three cotton fisherman sweaters and I'm a real live human not being paid by quince to promote their clothes. As a 5'7, 135lbs mom in my 40s working full time in a business casual public sector office, they are perfect for me.

I am the OP and I am not a quince employee but this is funny! Thanks! I am going to over a few sweaters 😃

I tried the "luxe cashmere" crewneck in a L, thinking it might run small, but it was too big - when I tried to exchange it, the M was sold out. I also tried two of their other cashmere's - the oversized V was VERY oversized and the $50 special seemed boxy, with a crew neck that was wider (bigger, lower) than I like. I had hoped that might fit the way Uniqlo's had two years ago (the last time I'd purchased an inexpensive cashmere), but it did not. Uniqlo is priced at $99 this year and runs longer this year- it's also fairly shapeless and thinner than in years past. I am on the fence over the Quince shrunken cashmere sweatshirt - actually trying the M, L, and XL based on reviews - the people who seem to like it, buy it very large so it can be "slouchy". For what it's worth, I think Bloomingdale's cashmere crews are sized differently this year than they were the last few years - arms tighter, necks larger, body longer. I used to switch between the Bloomies and Neiman's as they'd fit differently from year to year.

I love their things but they run very very big. I'm 5'7 and 125 lbs and some things are too short and boxy for me. I really like their silk tops and sweaters because I can wear them a little big.

I have their Ponte pants which I really like and just bought second pair because they become in short lengths (I’m 5’2”) and are thick /high quality and don’t stretch out and don’t wrinkle. The cashmere is okay and good for the price. I just bought a washable silk dress that I love but has to return another that was too big. Clothes run somewhere between true to size and a little big. (I wear a 4 and wear xs dress and small sweater in quince).

I was under the impression that Quince's business model is such that all different items are differently designed and manufactured -- so fit would vary from item to item.

It's a platform for factory direct to consumer more than a fashion house.

So every item has to be judged on its own merit, there's no overarching theme of tend to fit bigger / smaller etc. The common theme is cheap.

Some of their items has a following for sure, like the cotton fisherman sweater which I have and like a lot.

I also have the SuperSoft Fleece Hoodie which has a wonderful handfeel but difficult to care for if you need to wash it a lot -- I would not use the dryer b/c of the synthetic content that makes it sooo soft. (The lighter color shows less dirt.) That said I would wear this every day every where if i could.

I have a short sleeve cashmere sweater, which runs small (so I sized up) and isn’t great quality, but it filled a wardrobe hole for me. I have a pair of their regular joggers which are fine - I think they fit true to size and they look similar to Vuori. They have held up well on the outside but are pilling on the inside, so I don’t think they’re the best quality and I wouldn’t buy them again. I tried the cotton fisherman sweater and it ran big and was unflattering on my body type (smaller bust) but the quality seemed good.

I have their silk pajamas which were a tricky fit for me. They’re very comfy so I kept them and they are holding up fine.

If you order, I would try multiple sizes - their returns were easy.

I finally gave in to the instagram algorithm and was really impressed by the quality of a few items - particularly the ultra soft high rise leggings and ultra stretch ponte pants. The ponte pants really sucked me in and were a nice thick material. The leggings were also super soft and flattering.
