| A good soup topping is homemade croutons either in little chunks that you can drop in, or in long pieces that can be dipped in. If you make a tomato soup, you could put a nice toasty cheese on them too. Invite me to this party. It's my kind of food. |
| What about just doing chili? White chicken, beef & vegetarian with toppings and cornbread muffins. |

Tomato soup with itty bitty grilled cheese sandwich for a topper (make grilled cheese sandwiches and cut them up into basically a large crouton). If the grilled cheese is too much work, parmesan crisps are a great topper.
Loaded potato soup with cheese, scallions and bacon as toppers Vegetable beef soup |
This is great - I only eat broth-based soups so a chili bar wouldn't work for me, but this totally would. I love chicken soup. |

Big FCK YES to baked potato soup. You can make it vegetarian and then bacon bits can be for topping (and chives, cheese).
I would do a chicken noodle adjacent type as well. Maybe green chili chicken or enchilada style. Chili is a good standby, just can be a little boring. I like the idea of a butternut type too. |
Um delicious. I'm not a fan of serving (or eating) tomato soup at anything fancy because of the risk of spills, but I would risk it to dunk a grilled cheese soldier/finger in! |

We do chili for our super bowl party and people just sit anywhere and eat the chili so I wouldn’t worry about this being a seated prrt like others have said.
I vote for beef chili and chicken tortilla soup (can use the same toppings - cheese, tortilla chips or fritos, onions, etc) and a veg minestrone with pasta which wouldnt need any toppings. |
| Yes to chicken tortilla and french onion |
Don’t you mean baked potato bar? |
