I have seen horror stories about Rover on reddit, mostly re: overnight sitting. But there's not a real difference most of the time, IMO: I use a local company and they hire new walkers as needed, some of whom don't work out or don't stay.

You are not getting an animal trainer, you're getting somebody who will take your dog out to pee. OP should consider professional obedience training, so that anybody can walk their dog.
