Why not stitch witch the bottom of them?

I'm seeing raw hem flare at "full" length - like to the top of a flat shoe. It this acceptable to the trendsetters? or to normal DCUMers?

I can’t believe there’s a fashion forum at all considering how people dress in this area. People don’t seem to know the basics, let alone the trends.

Thank you for coming on to insult - I mean educate us with what we should know. You are helping this forum in ways we can't express

Oh look MeeMaw Millennial is back. You don't sound as cool as you think you do when you say this on every other thread.

Because that would look bad? I am of the mindset that jeans should either have a distressed hem ("original hem") or no hem at all. I think hemmed jeans look tailored and a little old fashioned.

You can't google "raw hem jean" or imagine what a pair of jeans would look like if you cut off an inch?

I think raw hem is a good casual summer look (I wore mine with platform sandals). I'm not wearing them this fall/winter though, although I did see people wearing them with Chelsea boots last winter. Just not my preference.

I have a pair of black, high rise, original fit 501’s with a full-length raw hem. I LOVE them. Actually wearing them right now with my Docs.

No stich witch wouldn't have a sewn seam though just would look clean folded under.

Yes- I did it on a pair.

Yes, you can just cut them. That said, it does feel like the raw hem trend may be starting to wind down. Jeans are also trending longer--more full-length and less ankle or cropped.
