Beige Trend -- Why has color disappeared for kids stuff

It's just fashion. Things are in, things are out. This muted neutral palette will soon be as recognizable as being dated as a kitchen in 1970s harvest gold and avocado green. Or a 1980s hunter-green chintz-filled living room featuring an outrageous amount of curtain fabric. But nothing-but-neutrals will likely be here for a while yet.

Personally, I love it with some muted bold tones...think deep gray teals, rich saffron accents, minty turquoise, deep but pale rose...lots of nice options to add interest. A child's bedroom needs to be calming. The play room can have a more vibrant color motif.

Does a beautiful color really bother you or make you irritable? I don't get this...

It's a common, neutral color.
