Dec 2nd SAT scores released today?

Forgot to add, he really wanted to be one and done and avoid the midyear switch to digital.

Same here 1370. Scored worse on Junior verbal PSAT from Sophomore paper PSAT. Not sure what to do - take ACT or try again with digital SAT (but again not confident based on PSAT). What are your plans?

My kid also did worse on the digital PSAT this year than the paper one last year isn’t thrilled about retaking the SAT digitally. It’s too bad they are changing it mid year.

Junior DS did worse on the digital PSAT than on the paper SAT. Very puzzling. Definitely going to retake the SAT but I'm just not sure how to fix whatever issues were causing were causing the lower score on the digital test. Also wondering what resources exist for practice digital tests. Khan Academy?

I have a lot more respect for parents who encourage their HS students to take standardized tests and who provide them with positive, constructive feedback when results hit than parents who hide behind the TO veil and encourage their students to game the system.

3.7 u/w and 1340 over 4.0 u/w TO any day of the week.

What do you mean worse? Like actual number or percentile? psat is a different scale than SAT. PSAT is out of 1520.
And isn’t that a good thing that the score is increasing if they took PSAT and then SAT?

We got ours. 2nd take, DD's score went up 40 points. Just in case it helps anyone, she took one practice test every weekend for few weeks on Khan Academy

Good to know, I think they have one of the only digital test preps out there too, yes?

My DS took Dec 2 SAT and increased 90 pts from October test using an online test prep program. I was skeptical that it would make a difference but he really put in the work.

Worse number and worse percentile on PSAT. Only thing I can think of is the digital test messed him up.
