High quality wool coat - navy or camel

For all those saying camel coats or camel colored coats - do you actually look good in them? I’m a winter season, dark skin, and they look awful on me. I actually think that wash out most people except some autumn seasons. Definitely don’t do it if you’re a summer!

They look good on very, very pale white women, not on olive toned skin.

Max Mara or Cinzia Rocca! Much more than $700 if purchased new, but you can find them on Poshmark or The RealReal. I just scored a long, wool and cashmere, dark brown Cinzia Rocca coat for $14.95 at Goodwill.

I'm coveting Max Mara but super curious about this one, 100% camel, fraction of the price and I love the styling. Anyone ever try Four Objects?

I don’t know but one of the things I like about Cinzia Rocca is I feel like it’s sort of not a Brand brand? I don’t want to pay for Max Mara marketing. I feel like the same factories make all the coats anyway.

I disagree. I have a now-vintage camel hair coat that my parents bought me. While it’s not a color I would usually wear, it’s a winter coat. Whenever I wear it, I’ll also be wearing a scarf or a mock neck top or both, so that the color next to my face is a more flattering choice. Think crimson sweater, plus gloves and a hat. So, yeah, in practice, I actually look good.

Usually prices go to 50% off the original price right after Christmas, which would put this in budget. They also have a more expensive longer length one that would be just over budget at 50% off, but they seem to be down to just one size available.

I bought one last year. Got it at end of season for $700. I love it!
