Were you ever a teen? Did you like your parents picking out gifts? No. Ask the kid what he wants.

I think we were all teens lol. But, not all of us were moody, sullen teens who didn't want to do anything. I was just as excited on christmas morning as a teen as I was as a younger kid.

We still get each kid a toy every Christmas- usually a lego set or something similar that can get put together on Christmas Day for fun. There are a lot now for “adults” that are for display not playing.

We also got a game to play on Christmas Day. This year is “Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza” which was listed as a fun game for teens to play. It’s short and chaotic so I think it will also be good for killing time with teammates at tournaments.

I also ordered a blanket from snapfish with pictures of our pet on it.

I got my kid (who is a little younger at 12) a gift voucher to iFly among a couple other things.

Last year I got DS a weighted blanket for his bed. He loves it. Now when we travel he says he has trouble sleeping without that or his noise machine. There’s two ideas.

It’s boring but he’s getting new pillows this year.

This year my son asked for a Whoop fitness device. I had never heard of it but it's been ordered. He also wanted an assortment of Ramen. He is getting hot sauce, beef jerky, clothes, video games.
Last year:
backbone so he can play his xbox games when he is traveling
beef jerky of the month club
Universal Yums subscription
I'm just not giving him money. Grandparents already do that.
