We have a 95lb pit bull and he’s not abnormally large, just incredibly muscular. 100 lbs seems perfectly in range.

Why do you hold the dogs to a higher standard than the humans? If people are mistreated serverely by people and they kill their abusers we treat them differently that those who grow up in a loving home.

How do you expect dogs that are beaten starved for food and love not to turn into hurt dogs that hurt back?

Nope, they need to be put down at any sign of aggression. If you read the article, the police officer had to shoot the dogs multiple times to stop them from attacking the woman.

There are more attacks. The thousands of attacks on animals and pets and livestock go largely unreported. And I can’t even guess how many more bites on humans go unreported. You can see the mental problems at work in the breed with all the dogs who lock on to dogs being walked by them, who strain at the leash. You can see it in the destroyed furniture, chewed through walls and doors.

Since I answered your question, one for you: is there some magic number at which you’d acknowledge that these dogs are not fit for purpose?
