How much does your middle school kid spend on lunch?

She says the portions are tiny, so she needs that much to fill her up. She is average height and weight, and eats normal portions at home. Is my kid just a ravenous school lunch eater, or are you seeing the same in your kid?

Lots of ice cream?

That might just be a rumor, because as far as I know schools were not allowing Uber eats or food delivery because of the traffic.

That’s hilarious. Our HS has a sign that says no UberEats or others can be delivered to the main office.

Doesn’t stop hundreds of kids from standing outside to wait for their food delivery. It’s gotten out of hand IMO

Do they let food trucks park outside school around lunch time? Lunch options for staff and students.

Some schools allow it. Mine does! But if it’s distracting to other students (like ordering a whole pizza) then it’s a no. Its wild because as a teacher I can’t imagine spending that much ever! The price increase and fees I just can’t do it!

MCPS Public School? Name and shame the school.

My responsible adult principal bans it on safety grounds.
