I doubt he was fired by SYC. Could it be that he decided that he just didn't have the capacity to also coach the 2011s? I'm pretty sure he is still there.

The coach is definitely still there with the 2012s. I imagine it would logistically be very hard to be coaching a team in MLS Next in addition to another team playing in a different league.

He was not fired. He had to let the team go due to his work commitment.

I'm at the field on a regular basis, and from what I see and hear from parents, the new coach is turning the team around, whereas the previous coach, Samba, has a demanding day job and couldn't get to the field on time, forcing him to drop this team. They have been winning games since the new coach took over, and parents are happy. No matter how great the coach is, he or she will never be able to please everyone. The team appears to be in fantastic spirits and playing great soccer!

This response sounds like it came directly from the SYC technical director. Let's just see how they do in the Spring.

Their top two players was smart enough to leave the club and not deal with the new coach.
