One can always dream ha ha! |
I don’t have a problem with paying for lululemon but my Core10 Amazon leggings are my favorite. |
I've had both and while the pricier ones are definitely better on average, sometimes they aren't. I've had Lululemon leggings that start pilling after about 6 months, for instance.
I like Sweaty Betty for leggings if I'm going to splurge. Otherwise I get the CRZ ones on Amazon -- I have several of those that are going several years strong without pilling or bagging. They don't suck me in and look quite as perfect as the SBs, but they are like 20% the cost so it's okay. You know where I always splurge? Sweatpants. With those, I'm looking for comfort and longevity and spending at least $60-70 on sweatpants is essential to me. I've bought cheap pairs but the fabric doesn't feel as good, the elastic will be to tight or too loose, and they don't last. Not worth it. |
OK, OP enjoy your pants.
I wear my Old Navy bike shorts for about 90 minutes a day, in my attic, while I ride my bike and do some pilates. I have a pair of Lululemon leggings (a gift) and have never worn them because I don't want long pants for a sweaty workout and I wear real pants when I leave the house. They seem nice I guess? |
thank you, I will ![]() |
OP here. Love my LLBean sweats. |
+1. Same. I've found the pricey ones are hit or miss (particularly LL and and Beyond Yoga), just like the cheap Amazon ones. So may as well spend a fraction of the cost! I find the better Amazon brands to be much nicer than Old Navy as well. Agree with the PP that said I always stick with better brands for coats, shoes, and bags. Fleeces and base layers as well. But I'm more of a tried and true Patagonia or LL Bean gal, rather than trendy brands. What sweatpants do you recommend, PP?? I'm rocking the flare leggings these days, but new sweatpants sound great. |
Sweaty Betty for the win. I'm a huge fan of my north face men's sweatpants. Only a smidge stylish, but oh so comfy! |
It took you this long to figure it out? Girl Lululemon has been selling yoga gear since 1998. |
Really glad to hear it, my 15 year old is getting a pair for Christmas and I was happy to get them because they'll make her so happy but I wasn't expecting them to have any benefit beyond that.

Totally agree Op. I kept buying Align dupes (including Colorful Koala) and for some reason, went ahead and bought the real thing. No comparison. LL is amazing!
I’m also a huge fan of Alo’s and Zella’s leggings. |
I do too. I always check for what they are offering in the clothing section when I'm there. Their products are so soft and so cheap! |
What brand sweatpants do you like? |
Which Costco leggings? |
I had a pair a long time ago that I splurged on - maybe in 2005? They were wide legged and the only yoga pants I owned because that’s when yoga pants were for yoga, which I did once a week. Now wide leg is back again! |
