Do you have a history of endometriosis or abnormal bleeding? There's a big difference between blood-tinged mucus at ovulation (normal) and irregular bleeding that happens between periods. |
| I hate this uncertainty of peri. |
Of course they are. That doesn’t mean anything. Doctors always love to throw a bunch of tests at you whenever possible. |
So wait, is spotting a big deal or not? Why is the doctor wanting to do tests? I thought it was common? |
You again? Telling us in detail about your discharge? |
I think the poster has a fetish related to vaginally discharge. |
With what doctor that is not a gyn or pcp? A discharge specialist? Your response makes no sense. You are making all this up for your fetish. |
Huh? The PP said it's a PCP and GYN. |

NP. It can be completely normal. It can also be a sign of something serious. I had never had any sort of midcycle spotting in my life until I was 40 and experienced it after each covid shot and after actually having covid. Because it was abnormal for me, my OBGYN ordered a trans-vaginal ultrasound and bloodwork, both of which came back normal. I've not had it again, so we chalked it up to covid/vaccinations.
For my mother, mid-cycle bleeding was her first indication of endometrial cancer. She was in her late 40s. By the time someone actually took it seriously and didn't just write it off as a symptom of perimenopause, her cancer had progressed to stage 3. Thankfully, she survived. |
I'm sorry: was she bleeding a lot? Or spotting for a day? |
Lol, except I probably pay for your healthcare. |
Hahaha. What a waste. |
I doubt it was only midcycle. Some of you need to learn what a follicle is. |
Agree.

They must play it safe. Don’t want to get sued. |
