Holiday gifts for DH who has everything

Or give an experience gift.

PP here. That’s what we give DH’s mom, since we see annually how she reacts to other gifts. 🤣

My husband absolutely hates to shop so I usually get him something like a sweater or two to save him the utter pain of shopping for himself. He also wrecks them very quickly so it’s an eternally refreshing need.

For most people who have everything, a luxury version of something they like is usually a good option. Like really high end steak. Or a cashmere winter scarf. Something they wouldn’t think to get for themselves but when you get it, you think “yeah, this is how the rich folks live…”. I feel that way about my real silk pajamas and my wicked good slippers. Yeah, I’ll buy myself Pjs but will I buy myself $200 pure silk ones? (Actually yes but that’s because I’ve given up on my family buying stuff like that for me.)

How about tickets to the next US Open or some good-seats football tickets?

He likes to work on his car and go off road driving. He also plays some tennis. He watches football.

Sounds like me only I like sports cars. How about a vintage keychain for the off road vehicle. Framed picture of his car commissioned by an artist, https://fineartamerica.com/art/off+road, or hat: https://shop.uncrate.com/products/classic-suv-christmas-tree-caps?variant=39510737944641¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&utm_campaign=gs-2020-01-28&utm_source=google&utm_medium=smart_campaign&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAmZGrBhAnEiwAo9qHiT5iZAZ9pptCjh_XFiEuGwdi7aV1ymuvsjnHOkZIUPhSqp28vBVWrxoChN0QAvD_BwE.

Tennis: new tennis bag, tennis shoes.

We don’t do gifts. We try to pick one fun experience to do either around the holidays or in the new year. Who needs more stuff?
