Anomia- difficulty thinking of a certain word

Anonymous
Living in a 55+ community this is a passtime we all participate in. I'm surprised there are no complexes called Anomia Gardens. I will say that generally we just try to help each other out figuring out what the hell it is we're trying to say. It can be entertaining.

In childhood, I was surrounded by family members with large, rich vocabularies. I picked-up words but wouldn't use them correctly. Not quite correctly.

It’s a word to indicate complexity plus nuance, stepping up to the next level to improve processes. But it’s lost to me, dangit.

You are all on the right track!

Imagine you’re working at a small business with time consuming, manual processes, and one day you’d like to be more _______, meaning you want to have the staff, time, and technical capabilities to automate/streamline things.

It’s an opposite of antiquated, but it’s not “modern.” It’s ________. It’s what? Not nuanced. Not complex. OptimiZe is close, but not quite.

I love and appreciate all the suggestions!

I don't think these are it, but posting my thoughts in case they trigger for anyone else, or if our searcher can say warm/cold to any of them:

Pretty sure all of us on this thread don’t have glioblastoma.
