Pacifiers for 3 year old?

You’ll get side-eye for sure but definitely not the only one with this issue. Agree on it looking a bit ridiculous past age 2.

You shouldn’t be replacing them at this age though — let it wear out.

We were right there with you OP. We let our nearly 3YO have it, at bedtime. Luckily, the dentist said her teeth look fine - and that we didn't have to hurry up and get rid of the paci (at least not for dental reasons).

But, after being shamed into action by some well meaning family members, we were finally able to go paci free.

A week after she turned 3, she enjoyed her last night of the paci. The first night without it, she had the worst meltdown I've ever seen. It was ridiculous. Cried herself to sleep and woke up multiple times screaming "I WANT MY PACI". That made me realize how truly addicted she was. The second night she screamed a little less. And by the 7th night she had forgotten about it completely.

Do what you need to do.
