Whatever the price of the fruit was. The other staples I always keep on hand, so I don't really factor those in.
Storebought pie crust is the crust of sadness. And the filling is always too sweet for my taste. They often look gorgeous (fancy basketweaves and decorations are not my strength), but the hassle of going to get them and the price charged really turn me off. |

That's how much the farmstand in my neighborhood charges - I buy two, an apple and a fruit of the forest pie, someone else makes pumpkin - and they have tons of filling and the most delicious crust I've had since my grandmother stopped baking hers from scratch. |

| Already had all the ingredients except pecans, canned pumpkin and evaporated milk - so about $10 for ingredient for two homemade pies (with homemade crust) made by my teens. Hope they taste as good as they look! |
