Wasn't there a cringeworthy hot or not site too?

Oh yeah. But that was just one question, no commentary I think. Wasn't it a game show and they just put up a website for it maybe? That was so long ago but I think my college roommate and I watched that show once or twice and were like "this is the end of civilization." Lol.

This is just the social credit system in China. Instead of an authoritarian communist running the game you want some faceless company in silicon valley to do it.

You're all terrible.

You're already writing reviews for the site, friend.

didn't the site MyLife do this?

Sounds horrible. People already walk on eggshells for fear of offending others. Some people deserve to be cancelled for terrible behavior but the online witch hunt trend is scary. Anyone can misconstrue anything. Younger generation is ready to jump on people for any perceived slight. And I say this as someone who experienced a lot of prejudice as an immigrant.

I thought that was a Facebook wannabe site?

OP: "Obviously, I'm joking..."

It was not obvious.

Stoking anger, doxing, prejudice, hatred, canceling, and retaliation, are not healthy and do not promote a healthy discussion.

Great idea, OP. Why don't you start the site and come back in a few years to tell us how many people have sued you for billions.

Scary.

Nosedive.

You’d have to be a psychopath to consider this a good idea.

Community beat Black Mirror to it by a couple years, the "meow meow beans" episode in 2014. Yvette Nicole Brown did a great job showing how the power over people's lives could corrupt even the nicest person.

PP here. I completely forgot about that episode!

This.

Wow, I am not sure whether the PPs in this thread are actually this humorless or if they are just such awful people that someone joking about "Yelp for People" strikes terror in their hearts. They know they've got some "zero stars, do not recommend" reviews waiting in the wings.

Probably both.
