It's hit or miss. Of my four family members getting shots different days at CVS this year, two had minimal wait, one waited 40 minutes because the store was having trouble confirming insurance coverage, and the other arrived a couple minutes early and was seen right away. |
I understand asking this to find a pharmacy that is kind and efficient. It can be hit or miss with flu shots, especially on a weekend. |

I get it. With kids, the place matters.
The giant at Virginia square are pretty quick. They say there will be a wait, but then they call your name quickly. The pharmacy is right by the bakery, so you could sign in and let the kids look at the baked goods with the promise of picking something out as a reward for being brave (if you are not against a little food bribery). |
| In general I find CVS to be a dumpster fire, but for flu shots I like them because you can schedule everyone together - it lets you add family members to the appointment. Walgreens doesn't. |
