What do you do with old pillows?

Anonymous
Guys. Stop “donating” stuff like this. It’s trash. Put it in the trash. If you got down pillows, they’ll decompose. It’s not a big deal. Let them go.

I really don’t think the animal shelter wants pillows.

I would think dogs/cats would tear pillows apart - not very safe?

Donate to whom, pray tell? Nobody wants old pillows.

Can pillows go in the recycling pile for garbage pickup?

How does asking what to do with old pillows make someone a cheapskate? Your logic is off.

Would you sleep on a stranger's old pillow? No? Then why the hell would you try to donate them?

I put them in the donation clothes bins that you find at some gas stations. I assume they will be turned into industrial rags.

Homeless people or people with no other options would.

Do not do that.

You should wash regularly pillow’s every so often. Who are these people who don’t.

Target sells pillows for $3. Why go through the hassle and waste of washing and drying pillows, just for them to end up flat and lumpy anyway, when you can just toss them and easily purchase fresh new ones?

Yep, and also when you sleep at your grandmothers house. Grandparents NEVER replace pillows.
