So indulge your inner glutton once a month and don't worry about it.

My now 12 yo used to call if Bazagna when she was under 4.

So cute. If i hear talk of lasagna, I switch the word to Bazagna in my head.

OP, same.

I make lasagna about twice a year. One DS and I are the only ones who eat it. It is DELICIOUS. We eat a massive quantity the first night. Then, I portion the rest out into generous servings and immediately freeze them. I can't just have lasagna in the fridge. It will call to me.

Or make them. If I make lasagna that I intend to freeze, then I will get some mini foil loaf pans and just cut up the noodles and make a set of individual lasagnas. I usually make a double recipe and make a medium for the family and then a bunch of individual ones. I bake the one for the family and then freeze the individual ones and we can bake as many as we need for a meal.

OMG. This darn thread. I'm very close to making a lasagna tonight when I really don't have the time or bandwidth to be doing that. But yumyumyum.

I have a separate stomach just for lasagna.

I can't understand why I do this for this dish and not any other.

I thought this was going to be about making it (and not the $75 kind!).

I love love love ricotta cheese so I want that layer to be thick and stand out as ricotta-y. That part works okay. But then I worry about it being dry so I think I slop in too much sauce. I never get good squares. It's always a slide-y mess.
