Katherine Schwarzenegger clothing line is awful

It doesn't even fit her aesthetic IRL. Not saying a designer has to make every line in their own image, but if you're going to have a celebrity line with your name on it, have it connected to you in some way, shape or form.

Yeah it feels super random. Also haha Project Runway poster - you nailed it.

It also feels a little dated? Like, huge puff sleeve Amish dresses were at Target a few years ago - now we're going to pay $300 for Chris Pratt's wife's version of them?

She looks good in the photos, lovely shiny hair and healthy skin.

can we move this to beauty and fashion, add pictures and add 9:48 as our host(ess). Please.

I don't know who the target market is but I don't know anyone of any age who would wear any of that.

It looks like it is AI generated.
The Sarbella blouse is okay but the rest is neither edgy nor sophisticated. It’s like random different fashion elements thrown together — off shoulder, bows, cut outs, patterns.

So many commentators insta are screaming Amish. It’s cracking me up.

I’m betting this quietly goes away in the next few months, and we won’t be hearing about this fashion line again lol.

+1 It's hideous and the only reason she has a line is nepotism.

Here's how it feels. It's like whoever designed it (and it wasn't Katherine, get real) was a Project Runway contestant who has somewhat minimal background in fashion, good construction skills, and borderline taste. However, they made a really cute matched set with shorts and a button down in week 3 using an upholstery textile that shouldn't have worked but kind of did, and Heidi loved it and kept saying "I would wear it! I would totally wear it!" And then in week 8 they made a genuinely pretty one shoulder maxi dress with this dramatic flounce in a really wow color and it looked fantastic on the runway and the model really worked it. And every other week they turned in some puff sleeve sundress that the judges were bored by, but it was reasonably well made and not a total travesty, so they kept advancing.

And then they get to the finals and it's obvious they're in way over their head and trying to capture the magic of the two good looks but maybe they weren't that good after all? I mean it was a matched set made out of couch fabric and a one-shoulder dress. And actually all they can do is buy these borderline ugly prints and make a puff sleeve and full skirt and actually, uh, that's not interesting or innovative or flattering and everyone hates it but they clap politely and are like "you're doing your thing, that's great!" before moving on to the actual contenders.

You won the Internet today. Do you write for a living?
Cleobella just has that very specific vibe.

It's like Zutano or Hanna Andersson for grown ups. It's not that bad/thought it would be worse from the descriptions- but it's just not anything I'd ever wear.

The nytimes article was delicious but this clothing line is boring.

The clothes look like something my grandmother would buy at Kohl’s.

I think she’s trying to lean into a tradwife aesthetic but it’s too dated even for that.

I loved early Zutano. Then they were purchased, I think, and the charm wasn't there for me.
