Fairfax is Fairfax county, including Tysons. Are you trying to distinguish Fairfax City? That's somewhere else.

I’m not sure what you’re getting at but this car jacking in was in Tysons, not Fairfax. Yes it is Fairfax County, but that’s not what people are saying. They’re saying this was a Fairfax carjacking. That would suggest it is in the city of fairfax or town of fairfax

Nope. Fairfax is the county. If it is Fairfax City, then they say Fairfax City.

Hopefully VA will do the right thing and give him 18 years.

From the court docket it looks like he was sentenced to a whopping 18 months for that case back in January 2023.

Sounds like he served exactly half and began to support his family immediately.

That’s certainly the portion of this post to hone in on like an obsessive lunatic. Good job.

Seriously. Pedantic person, I believe OP was trying to indicate that the DC resident was committing crimes in the suburbs. There is nothing incorrect about a Fairfax reference here.

Well its not so weird to think this occured in Tysons as opposed to "Fairfax".

Except that Fairfax City has higher crime than Tysons. I think this entire thread of conversation is nonsensical. Could have happened anywhere, happened in Tysons. Tysons is Fairfax County

I’m not sure what you’ve been smoking today but ALL of that is Fairfax. All of it. So is Springfield, McLean, Kingstowne, etc.

In fact, because of the ambiguity, we can't be sure where this crime occurred. Amiright?

Point is long sentence to keep the miscreants from the district from moving their business south to Virginia.

So is there a GoFundMe to replace the victim's 10 year old car that this 3x armed carjacker just casually wrecked?
Anonymous
To those of us in DC it’s all Fairfax county.

Not if Steve Descano has anything to say about it!

Steve will see to it that this young man, victim of the justice system, will be back on the street with minimal time.

Criminals can count on Steve.

That idiot is lucky the Tyson's mall cops didn't catch him. They shoot to kill.

He drove straight into that gas station pump. Living life like a video game. His third carjacking in 2 years. He has only learned the wrong lessons.
