I made my own thread but someone replied with a link to this one. Sorry, but that responder misinterpreted. The college's question is NOT ABOUT LEGACY, as sibling legacy is separately asked about in the questions preceding the where-do-siblings-attend-college questions.

Maybe I should make a new thread again, because this thread I was directed to is irrelevant.

In regular decision, it might help them figure out where else your kid might have an offer from

The other question is not about sibling preference. It just seems like the school is interested in knowing where else siblings go. The only reason I can think for this would be because they’re trying to map out the kids application strategy for early decision?

My DD pointed out that UVA has lots of siblings when I met her for lunch in Charlottesville. However their legacy does not include siblings.
