I feel like there's a perfect school for DS that's a little under the radar ..

There are so many nice schools out there.

What does your child want? Major, activities, big/small, etc?

What are their stats?

I have done an insane amount of internet research since spring of 2022. I have found so many great schools across the country looking for a pretty specific mix of majors/minors and that my daughter with not so great stats might have a shot at.

I even have a running list of schools that were worth a look save one thing or another. For example - western Kentucky, central Oklahoma, Colorado Mesa, southeast MO, Wyoming, Utah Tech, New Mexico, Wisconsin-stevens point, Brenau, San Jose State, Cal Poly-Humboldt, Western Oregon, Illinois State, Stockton, Fredonia, UNC G or C, Winthrop, Wagner, Salve Regina and Roger Williams (sure I’m forgetting more)

Oddly, my daughter’s final app list doesn’t seem to have anything in common, but WE know the things we were looking for. It includes large and medium public schools in several states and privates between 500 kids to 4000 students

We looked all over for 2 kids. After they both graduated from college I happened to be driving through Oklahoma & stopped in Norman to see the U of Oklahoma. “How the hell did we overlook this one?” was all I could think.

It’s a great school, not as well known in the DC area. Offers great merit.
