Once your EA/ED1 applications are in, are you submitting RD apps or holding on to them?

If my kids had applied ED, I would have had them complete their RD applications but wait to send until they heard back from ED just to save the extra $500 or so on application fees!

My kids did hear back from a few EA safety schools by mid-December, but other EA schools didn't send out results early enough to make a difference in RD applications.

Mine is waiting -- app fees are expensive (also css, transcript, slideroom fees), she's drained from the early apps and covid. It's been a miserable month.
