The Work Wife, by Alison B. Hart

Fiction - Low-ish rating on Goodreads (3.3), but I thought it was quite good.

In the same vein as Devil Wears Prada, though not about assistants, per se, there was The Starter Wife and Bergdorf Blondes.

The Carrie Fisher one is called A Star is Bored - it had its moments but I thought was ultimately disappointing.

Lily King's The Pleasing Hour is about an American who moves to France to be an au pair: https://www.amazon.com/Pleasing-Hour-Lily-King/dp/0802143741

I really enjoyed it.
