SLAC returning to pre-covid grading policy

I can't get a sense of how people are responding to this. My take is that they've been back in person for over a year, so the "covid policy" should have been gone before this.

This is so weird. My kid goes to a SLAC and they do not have\did not have Covid grading.

novice - will try to do better with my next post. Thought it was relevant to include that “he” was a “senior” as he’s seen the full spectrum of the covid grading impact at “his” school. And the school is not really the point imo, but fine if you disagree

ok I’ll give a couple of hints - they have a lacrosse team and most kids who didn’t go ED were rejected by ivies

Except the actual school is the only point.

I don’t think anyone thought any school was still using “Covid” grading, nor do we have any reason to believe the other NESAC schools continue to do so.

Without the school name, the information is useless.

always amazing to me how some on DCUM are so obsessed with “name the school”and personalizing every issue to their own circumstances. I actually thought this post/topic was interesting without the school name, but I’m likely a more even keeled and in the minority

yes and all non ED kids have been rejected by ivies - mostly Brown and Dartmouth
