| Do you have kids? |
| I’ve been doing this for years and I just assume people think I’ve got therapy or PT. It’s actually something else. Don’t worry about it. It’s your time. |
| you could mention your chiropractor |

I am nosy enough to wonder, but would in no way think less of someone for any of the possibilities!
If the recurring appointment is for 2 or 3 months I’d guess PT. For 6 month-year I’d guess psychotherapy. No end date I’d guess “reconnecting with spouse”. |
| I did this. It was speech for my kid. I wasn’t secretive about it though. |
| I wouldn't give it much thought. |
Any number of things. I ran a running club at my kids school so took the same 90min weekly for several months. (Usually ended up needing to cover that time across various evenings so it worked out well for my employer

Now that I work from home, I don’t need to take as much leave for house, maintenance appointments or running to a 30 minute teacher conference. I now have a lot of leave and most of it will not carryover into the new year.
I’ be been taking off every other Friday afternoon for the last few months. My job has a culture of no Friday afternoon meetings, so I don’t miss anything. And if I need to catch up or have a project deadline, I actually do it over the weekend; but otherwise I’m logged off and sitting dith my feet up, out shopping or getting my nails done, or taking a long weekend. It’s all reserved/blocked on my calendar, so if anyone is looking, they may notice the pattern. But I wouldn’t care what anyone thought was going on. My immediate manager, probably can see that it is “vacation” time, and not “sick leave”; but I wouldn’t care if he wanted to speculate anything either way . |

Recurrent volunteer shift. Recurrent medical appointment (PT, counseling, infusion). Personal care (massage, blow out, nails). Side hustle. Standing date. At my job, it will just show up as “out of office”, so my colleagues would probably assume I have a weekly meeting out of the office.
Could be anything. It isn’t really anyone’s business. |
| I block out when I go to the gym and just work a bit longer that day. It isn't a big deal. |
