Another vote for Pond’s cold cream (green lid) and Pond’s moisturizer (blue lid). Used both since I was about 12-now 54.

Dove soap.

Vanicream facial moisturizer w SPF.

I get compliments on my complexion.

I recently upped my anti-agin routine:

Mornings I use Vanicream cleanser, c serum, niacinamide serum, Laroche Posay double repair moisturizer, Trader Joe’s supergoop dupe SPF.

Evenings, same cleanser, Tazarotene .05%(prescription retinoid) all over face/neck/chest, Laroxhe Posay triple repair cream.

Prescription retinoids are so much better than anything OTC in my experience. I started with tretinoin a few years ago, and it was amazing. Tazarotene has been even better for my skin — all the benefits of tretinoin but without the sporadic irritation.

Tatcha cleansing oil, Tatcha Rice Polish, Tatcha Essence, Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer. I had a bad case of hives/skin allergy last year, switched to fragrance free Tatcha and DE, works good for me.

The glow I got when I started using Tatcha was indescribable, I am 49 years old.

Tatcha has good thanksgiving sales, that’s when I stock up.

Following. I am upping my game also but had to pause for a few weeks. I have sensitive skin so always went mild and always used SPF. Recently bought and used Roc products; vit c serum in am, roc retinol products at night. I mistakenly used them together for a few days. A few weeks in my skin was irritated and about 4 red spots, increasing daily. So I stopped but want to resume next week (spots cleared) and will take baby steps with the products and will try the sandwich method (moisturizer first before retinol).

During my pause I started Cerave am moisturizer in morning and Laroche Posay triple repair cream at night. But both pill! Even after a few minutes waiting after cleansers. Disappointed ; I feel like I’m spending money and just experimenting.

I do like Tatcha’s rice polish.

I use SkinBetter products rec’d by my derm. Pricy as hell but I only need to buy them every 8-9 months and I will say my skin is looking really good after two years on them. I use their Alto Defense Serum in the morning and AlphaRet at night. Otherwise I use less expensive stuff like the Ordinary HA and Weleda skin food for moisturizer.

Morning:
Walmart brand acne-free face wash
Olay regenerist
Crepe erase on forehead and neck

Evening:
Face wash
Pond’s cold cream
Crepe erase

Amazing results. I was recently having trouble with makeup settling into fine lines/caking at end of day. This skin regime changed it. Crepe erase needs to be used daily for 8 weeks to see results, but it almost entirely elimated the creases in my forehead and neck. Age 49.
