Water mainline repair advice needed

Were you able to find someone OP?

There is a service called line locators that can pinpoint the source of the leak. Recent repair cost for us was $4k including the cost of the line locator service.

Just FYI, WSSC gives you a short window to get the repair done before they cut your water off. And they have to inspect and approve the work.

OP here - I called a few places and was told they don't do the work or have not called back. WSSC has not been helpful with recommendations.
This is so frustrating.

OP, first of all, don't try to fix it, replace the line.

WSSC doesn't care. It's not their problem. Try this. On WSSC website, they keep a list of master plumbers. If I remember correctly, you can search by zip code. Have you tried that?
