If anything PG should be promoting town-center zoning which promotes livable, walkable communities instead of the stupid endless acres of cookie cutter subdivisions where you have to get into your car to do anything at all instead of just walking to the shop on the corner. And as for protecting agricultural land I'm all for protecting ag land and helping and protecting bonafide local farmers - IF they'd stop with all of the massive industrial monoculture, and instead at the very least put in some oases for the bees and other pollinators so that we don't have a total ag collapse - along with more local food crops, because I'd sure love to have affordable fruits and veggies from PG than produce shipped all the way from Mexico which is practically the only thing you find in most grocery stores anymore...
