They were the most efficient form of housing for generations, which is why so many exist. It's the lifestyle that has changed. It's not difficult to update them for modern living. In the past people would have added a family room extension but now most open kitchen to dining room, and cut through back of hall to living room and get a good circular flow going. But even an unremodeled center hall colonial has far less wasted space than your typical new build. Now talk about wasted space! |
| Worth $1 million and that’s very generous |
You stupid rube. |

It's pretty depressing that you could have enough money to buy a $2.2 million house, and this old, boring house is what you'd get.
It's probably even more depressing in person, since all of the staging appears to be virtual. |

Agreed that it's nuts if this is $2 million+.
With current interest rates, that's probably a $10k/month housing payment. |
It's not going to go for $2M. They'll drop their price, hide and watch |
| It's super convenient if your kids are in Murch/Deal/Wilson and also pretty good location if your kids are at the Cathedral schools. But seems overpriced by around $200k. |
As I said they will drop their price, but this recent cut is not enough. They need to go to $1.8M. |
