You’re exactly right op. Some people are so unbelievably rude. |
| Everybody sucks here. The high-volume YouTuber ITA because, duh, that’s a rude thing to do in public. But OP is equally rude for the way she phrased her complaint. Asking “Would you please use your headphones? I’m afraid I can hear both sides of your conversation” is one thing. But passive-aggressive chastisement like OP described doesn’t help the situation. |
| Both. It’s a community center not a library. Using your phone in a way that others can hear it is wrong. |
| I would have asked them to use headphones. |
| "Would you mind using headphones..." if they had headphones, wouldn't they already be using them? Who keeps headphones in their bag and listens to a movie on full blast in public? |
Oh, this just drives me nuts! I have been in the only occupied stall in a line of 20, with every other stall door obviously open, and yet someone will go into one right next to me. WTH! Someone should study this phenomenon. Just to fck with them, I start groaning and making loud fart noises on my arm. |

No you are not the ______!
They are. |
| I wonder this Op. I park in a near empty parking lot, and someone parks very close to me. Or at a movie theatre, mostly empty, and someone chooses a seat very near me. why why why |
The beach! Don’t forget the people who do this on fully deserted beaches! |
