Nothing. He has never done anything. I am not a Dem but I don't hate him. He's your typical old-school Fairfax technocrat. He always advocates for federal workers and his constituents.

He maintains a low-profile in a seat that is perfect for him.

Whoever replaces him when he retires will be awful so I guess I'm glad we have him.

Gerry is my rep and Gym Jordan is my parents’ rep in Ohio and I remember when that happened my parents thought it was hilarious! They think Jordan is a total idiot.

+1, he's my rep and there's little that can be done as part of the minority. I've watched him in a couple of the weaponization hearings and he's good at calling out the other side on their BS...but really the hearings are a waste of everybody's time.

He's had a couple of "Outbursts" in Congressional hearings, one involved him with Tom Homan on the safety of migrant children and another one on Trump's initial response to Covid-19.

Also, I don't think he purposely wants to be "Low-Key"; he ran to be the Chairman of the Oversight Committee for the Dems but lost to Jamie Raskin.
